– At 526 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms fell across the
warned area overnight. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2 and 4
inches of rain have fallen.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected through this morning.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Marion, Mount Gilead, Cardington, Caledonia, Edison and
Iberia.
– The Whetstone Creek is flooded near Mount Gilead. At 430 AM
the creek was at 10.78 feet. Flooding begins at 9 feet.
